SciKey, fully customizable keyboard for scientists

This is one of the core principles of modern mobile devices, and today we are very excited to fulfill this promise for scientists (and everyone else).
We built SciKey to provide an iPhone and iPad keyboard with the special characters scientists need, such as Greek letters and mathematical symbols. In just a couple of months, thousands of people have downloaded the app, and the feedback has been quite amazing.
But every scientist has different needs, which brings us to today’s major update. “SciKey 2.0” is now fully customizable, to let you build your perfect keyboard.
Keyboard “à la carte”
SciKey is free to download, with a default selection of special characters. The customization feature is available as an in-app purchase for only $0,99. Once you’ve unlocked it, the SciKey application lets you select the key you want to change, and you can then pick a new character among all the categories available: “Mathematical Operators”, “Latin Extended”, “Greek and Coptic”, “Arrows”, “Geometric Shapes”, etc. We even added a search field inside the app to help you find the character you’re looking for, because there are just so many of them.
Once you’ve customized your keyboard, you will be able to use it from all the applications on your iPhone or iPad. This is going to have a tremendous impact on what you can do with your mobile device.
