Custom values, snippets, and new emoji for SciKey

SciKey lets you build the perfect keyboard for your iPhone and iPad. Today, with the release of SciKey 2.1, we are pushing the customization possibilities even further.

The app contains more than 3,000 characters, ranging from mathematical operators to extended Latin letters. But if the character you’re looking for isn’t available, you can now literally enter any value, for instance copied from a web page. Simply click on the “+” button in the search field, and type in or paste the new character.

This features comes with a nice “side-effect”: there’s no limit to the number of characters you can attach to one key, so you can enter a word, or even a whole text snippet. Feel free to setup quick replies, signatures, and more.

Finally, Apple has recently introduced a new set of emoji, including hundreds of new people and flags. They are now part of SciKey too.

The application is available for free on the App Store. Customization requires a one-time in-app purchase.
